We want to add once again a story to our blog section. Not long ago, we had the pleasure to create an oil painting from a photo of a well known American celebrity. Mr. Lacy Darryl Philips, a well known artist, who was an assistant to the choreographer Mr Michael Peters who supervised Michel Jackson`s Thriller video clip. Lacy is also a famous radio moderator. He sent us a photo of him, which shows the artist at his actual work, in the radio station of 99rock – KCLAFM – Hollywood –L.A. (www.kclafm.com). Lacy is a moderator of a Show that is called “The Underground Experience” (www.ultimateunderground.com) that presents exiting topics around art and fashion.

The first step was to review the photo. In order to receive an impressive portrait painting, we needed to edit the photo and to delete all unnecessary items. Lacy selected the option “let the artist chose” concerning his online order. Together with our portrait artist, we decided to modify the custom oil painting as follows:

After 7 business days intensive painting, we were happy to present the final oil portrait to the American Star from Hollywood for review, and had our photo to painting service completed:
