Cats are one of the most loyal creatures on this earth. They are careful and only trust those with whom they are familiar with. Once you have created that special bond with your cat this will not be broken and they will provide you with lots of love and affection.
A cat displays many emotions and these range from purring when they are happy, wagging their tails when they are sad and if they are scared or mad they will hiss at you and maybe even scratch.
Cats also live for many years and do not require as much care as a dog so they make an ideal companion for older people or people with a demanding lifestyle.
